Snorkeling and Whale and dolphins watching
We will leave at 8:00 AM from the "hamaca" bridge a bit out from Rio Claro de Golfito on the Rio Coto district.
Once on the outside of the river we will have an explanation of the river tour. After instructions told we will be ready to begin our tour down by the river and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the quiet and charming Rio Coto, which got his name from the Indian chief of this region in times of the colony, called "Guice Coto."
After 2 hours of this 5 1/2 hours trip, we will be ready for a snack in the middle of the places that only people who take the tour of the Rio Coto can see, so do not miss it. Our last stop is up to the Ferry Bridge where we will be waiting for us transport to take us back to the hotel.
- Schedule of the tour :
- 8:30 a.m : departure from Rio Claro de Golfito the Viquillas district "hamaca" bridge
- 9:30 a.m : pick up snacks at the Bridge "24"
- 10:00 a.m : snack on the river banks.
- 12:30 p.m : Arrive at Old Bridge Rio Coto Ferry where we enjoy a delicious local shrimp "ceviche".
- Tour length : 5 1/2 hours
- Included : All required equipment, risk insurance policy by the INS, refreshment in the Rio Coto, Bilingual guide (INA) licensed rescue diver, life jacket, helmet, paddle, double or single kayak.
